Shrapnel tells the story of two veterans of the war in Bosnia, one American, one Serbian, who will compete in the Appalachian Mountain wilderness. FORD is a former American soldier in Bosnia in the front line fighting. When our story begins, he retreated to a remote cabin in the woods, try the painful memories of war to escape. The drama began when KovaÄ, a former Serbian soldier looking from Ford, hoping old scores to settle. What follows is a cat-and-mouse in which Ford and Kovac fght their own personal World War III, and physical and psychological war. By the end of FLM, old wounds are opened, suppressed memories are drawn to the surface and long-hidden secrets about both Ford and Kovac were revealed.
